This includes Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), who serves as the committee’s chairwoman but who won’t serve in the next Congress as she lost her primary to another nearly 30-year incumbent, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY).

Maloney tried to frame Jordan’s remarks from the conference as tying the scandals involving Hunter Biden to be about former President Donald Trump potentially running again in 2024. “An investigation into Hunter Biden,” as Maloney phrased it coming from Rep. Jordan, “would quote ‘frame up the 2024 race,’ end quote for Donald Trump, explaining quote ‘we need to make sure that he wins,’ end quote.”

In reality, those remarks were made at a different part of Rep. Jordan’s conversation with Matt Schlapp at CPAC. Speaking about Hunter Biden, the congressman did lay out concerns of “suppressed evidence of the Hunter Biden story,” including when it comes to former FBI Agent Timothy Thibault.

Jordan went on to discuss how “at the same time we’ve got whistleblowers coming to our office, who tells us that they’re getting pressured to categorize and catalogue every case that they do as a ‘domestic extremism,’ ‘violent extremism,’ when in fact they’re not, and the same person doing the prime pressuring is this individual Timothy Thibault,” which the congressman said “needs to be investigated.”

Leah and Matt covered those reports over the weekend that FBI agents are in fact being pressured to do just that.

Where Trump’s potential 2024 run comes into play, moments later, is how Rep. Jordan painted a picture of several other concerns the American people have, which Trump has addressed.

“And when you couple it with what they’ve done to parents who show up at school board meetings, the political nature of our justice department, is frightening. And so that’s something, if we get the majority we need to look at, and a host of other issues, the border situation as I’ve mentioned, um, we need to look at how did thousands of Americans’ tax returns get public, that’s not supposed to happen in this great country.” It was then that Jordan went on to say “so, all these things need to be investigated just so you have the truth, plus that will help frame up the 2024 race, when I hope and I think President Trump is going to run again and we need to make sure that he wins,” to much applause from the crowd.

In speaking with Townhall, Rep. Jim Jordan offered that he and Republicans are being targeted on this “because they’ve got no, there’s no good answers as to why you wouldn’t want transparency associated with the Biden story, the Hunter Biden story,” as he pointed to how The Washington Post published stories within minutes of each back in March once it was confirmed his laptop was real. “So I think they go after Republicans because the facts aren’t good for them, so they’ve got to do something.”

Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) also referenced Jordan speaking at CPAC, though like the chairwoman, she did not provide the full context.

As Norton noted about his remarks, Rep. Jordan “said probes into Hunter Biden would, and here I’m quoting, ‘frame up the 2024 race when I hope and I think, President Trump is going to run again and we need to make sure that he wins,’ end quote.”

One can thus see from the full context of Jordan’s remarks that there is much that Maloney and Norton left out.

When it comes to the larger context of protecting Hunter Biden and the Biden family, Jordan predicted it’s because Democrats “want to keep this information from the American people, that was hidden in 2020, and it’s just how they operate.”

This is not the only time that Rep. Jordan’s words have been taken out of context. A particularly egregious example includes when Democratic members of the January 6 Select Committee doctored text messages from the congressman. They were even forced to admit, too.

Jordan does not believe his Democratic colleagues will own to and apologize for such a move this time, though. He chalked them taking him out of context to how “this is how they operate” and that “they can’t defend what they’re doing, so they gotta attack and misrepresent and mislead the country about Republicans,” with what they did during Tuesday’s hearing being “just another example.”

The House Oversight Committee ultimately rejected the ROI. Should Republicans indeed take back control of the House, though, as they are predicted to do so, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) who currently serves as the committee’s ranking member, will continue to make it not just a priority for next Congress, but “a duty to do oversight,” as Rep. Jordan assured Townhall.

Twelve were caught in August alone, the second highest monthly total since numbers began to be released earlier this year.

The new numbers represent a sharp increase as the Biden administration faces growing pressure to tighten security at the border: Just 15 suspected terrorists were caught in all of the fiscal year 2021, and just 11 were caught in total from 2017 to 2020.

Counterintuitively, catching more of those on the watch list is bad news, because it likely means more are getting through, border experts say.

“Those are the ones that Border Patrol put their hands on,” Rodney Scott, former chief of the Border Patrol, told The Washington Times in an interview earlier this summer.

He said those who are caught generally did not know that they are on the U.S. security radar. Those who are aware are being brought in by smuggling organizations who are taking advantage of the gaps caused by the current level of border chaos.

“Anybody who actually knows or has a fear they’re on the watch list, they’re coming through those gaps and holes,” Mr. Scott said.

He said the numbers being caught are more than warning signs. “Those are rocket flashes going on to wake people up,” he said.

The 78 people detained were all listed in the Terrorist Screening Database, the government’s main terrorism watch list. It includes known or suspected terrorists and those known to associate with them.

The issue of terrorists on the southern border has been heatedly debated.

Biden’s tax hike proposals have caused quite a stir and for good reason. 

Anyone who’s awake to the effects of raising taxes on businesses and citizens alike knows this is the antithesis of economic boom and recovery. Tax hikes spell out disaster, lackluster innovation, decreased production, lower family incomes and less investment. 

For a country who is already struggling to rebound from the effects of the pandemic, tax hikes are not only counter-productive, they’re anti-American. 

Newt Gingrich said on Sunday the Biden Administration  is “the most anti-American presidency in our country’s history.” This is a tough title to hold being we all lived through 8 years of the Obama administration however, Biden is beginning his presidency with flying colors in this regard. 

On the heels of Biden’s plans to double the capital gains tax rate to 39.6%, and an existing surtax on investment income, federal tax rates for investors could be as high as 43.4%. Upon this news, the stock market tanked, with the dow falling a staggering 250 points, and reality sinking in. 

Commenting on this proposal, former Trump Chief Economist Larry Kudlow says President Biden’s tax plan is an “assault on investment.” 

Melting the Middle Class 

When Americans can’t work (due to the pandemic and/or a deficiency of work) they turn to investments for income. The Biden Administration sees this clearly and is doing what they can to harm us in every way possible. 

“There’s some pretty tough headwinds ahead if these taxes, which are an assault on investment … and the people they are going to hurt the most are the middle class, the blue collar middle class, [who will bear] 70% of the burden of the corporate tax, which includes the capital gains tax, 70% of that burden falls on the blue-collar middle class. Make no mistake about that Biden rhetoric notwithstanding,” Kudlow on Sunday told John Catsimatidis on his radio show, “The Cats Roundtable ” on WABC 770 AM.

The left has convinced America they are in it for the underdog, the middle class, the working people… and some believe them. If you stop listening to what the democrats and Biden are saying and solely look at their actions, proposed changes and executive orders, you will see the exact opposite. 

It is the ever-decreasing middle class that will be most affected by this tax proposal. The blue collar worker inherits the burden, not the rich, not the Wall Street players, not the big banks. 

Killing Small Businesses 

“The rest of the Biden plan – they’re going to remove the 20 percent deduction for small LLC, S-Corp, you know, wholly owned enterprises, unincorporated, 20 percent deduction is gonna be disallowed along with the hike on the C-Corps to 28 percent, and the 21 percent tax on U.S. funds held overseas. These are gigantic tax hikes and I just summarized it. It means less investment, less capital formation, it means less innovation and invention and research and development. It means fewer wages and lower family income,” he said.

The media doesn’t tell us about this trickle down affect that will lead to businesses hiring less and paying workers lower wages, less investments into innovation and production and less money being taken home by the blue collar worker. 

“You’re going to take about 20 to 25 percent of corporate profits down. Now, that means less investment, that means less money to payout wages, that means less money to purchase new machinery and equipment to enhance productivity, and that means family incomes are gonna go down. That’s the cap gains tax, which runs through corporate profits taxes,” said Kudlow.

The Destruction of Trump’s Booming Economy 

Under President Trump the economy was in a boom. We saw record low unemployment numbers, less Americans dependent on the Welfare system and more jobs being brought back to the US. 

So why does Biden want to destroy this progress? Why does he want to stifle the growth and boom experienced by Americans? 

He wants to make more people dependent on the government. The more dependent we are the easier we are to control. This is what they are really after. Not freedom and liberty for all. They are after socialism and a controlled state. 

“Why would you start taxing the daylights out of an economy that is roaring ahead? I don’t get it,” concluded Kudrow.

There is nothing to get. The taxes are meant to hurt Americans and kill the economy.

Biden is urging the High Court to uphold warrantless gun confiscation, which began as a case involving a spat between a couple, and is now a major Fourth Amendment case. 

The story dates back to August 2015 when Edward Caniglia and his wife Kim got into a quarrel over a joke Edward made regarding his brother-in-law. The spat turns into an hours long tiff that ended with police unlawfully seizing Edwards guns while officers took him for a mental health check.  

When the officers seized his guns they didn’t claim it was an energy or to prevent imminent danger, instead, they argued their actions were a form of “community caretaking.” This claim is a very narrow exception to the Fourth Amendment’s warrant requirement. 

Now, Biden is calling on the Senate to approve two bills passed by the House of Representatives on March 11 that would broaden background checks on gun buyers and ban assault-style weapons. 

“I don’t need to wait another minute – let alone an hour – to take common-sense steps that will save the lives in the future, and I urge my colleagues in the House and Senate to act,” Biden said at the White House on Tuesday.

Will these actions save lives? This is debatable as gun-owning citizens are among the most law abiding citizens in the country. Unregistered, stolen and black market guns are the vast-majority used in crimes. 

Biden’s statements and actions come after both a district and appellate court upheld the seizures as “reasonable” under the community caretaking exception. 

The First Circuit sided with law enforcement on the above case citing a police officer “must act as a master of all emergencies, who is ‘expected to… provide an infinite variety of services to preserve and protect community safety.’” 

While the Fourth Amendment exception is “ill-defined,” the court has extended the doctrine outside of the vehicles context to cover private homes as well. 

In their opening brief for the Supreme Court, attorneys for Caniglia warned that “extending the community caretaking exception to homes would be anathema to the Fourth Amendment” because it “would grant police a blank check to intrude upon the home.”

Sadly, this fear is not unwarranted. The jurisdictions that have extended this community caretaking exception to homes, “everything from loud music to leaky pipes have been used to justify warrantless invasion of the home.” This comes from a joint amicus brief by the ACLU, the Cato Institute, and the American Conservative Union. 

It’s also obvious if this expansion holds, it could have staggering affects on people calling for help when it’s needed. As the brief stated, “When every interaction with police or request for help can become an invitation for police to invade the home, the willingness of individuals to seek assistance when it is most needed will suffer.”

The Biden Administration is calling on the justices to uphold the First Circuit’s ruling stating “reasonableness” of the Fourth Amendment is the ultimate touchstone. However, who is the one to decide the reasonableness? 

“The ultimate question in this case is therefore not whether the respondent officers’ actions fit within some narrow warrant exception,” their brief stated, “but instead whether those actions were reasonable,” actions the Justice Department felt were “justified” in Caniglia’s case.

If upheld this exception would greatly undermine the ability for people to secure their homes and live without an arbitrary, looming threat of unwarranted home invasion and seizure of their fire arms. 

“The Fourth Amendment protects our right to be secure in our property, which means the right to be free from fear that the police will enter your house without warning or authorization,” said Institute for Justice Attorney Joshua Windham. “A rule that allows police to burst into your home without a warrant whenever they feel they are acting as ‘community caretakers’ is a threat to everyone’s security.”

Trump’s adviser and spokesman, Jason Miller has confirmed this in a new interview with Fox News. Miller says President Trump will start his own social media platform and be back to posting in as little as 2-3 months. This is great news for conservatives worldwide who have all felt the absence of Trump’s social media presence, including the leftist media whose numbers have plummeted since the election. 

Although Miller did not give specifics on what the platform would entail, he did state it would “redefine the game” and attract tens of millions of people. The platform would appeal to conservatives who have experienced the bias and bans on social media against conservative ideologies.

Trump is currently banned from multiple social media sites including Facebook and Twitter, who are likely losing millions of daily interactions because of this. Primetime news is also suffering without the former president.  

Prior to Trump’s Twitter suspension, he had amassed a whopping 90 Million followers. Possibly Twitter, and the whole of Big Tech, felt the resonance of his words with American nation wide. Youtube, Twitch and Snapchat are a few more sites that have banned Trump.

Miller told Fox News on Sunday he expects Trump to “[return] to social media in two or three months” with “his own platform” that will “completely redefine the game” and attract “tens of millions” of users.” 

Though he didn’t elaborate on details, the excitement ensues while conservatives wait for the free speech platform. 

Following the Twitter suspension, the former president has chosen to release statements via advisers and email. These emails include midterm 2022 candidate elections. 

Miller also said the Trump still holds a considerable amount of sway in the Republican Party. 

“He’s already had over 20 senators, over 50 members of Congress call … or make the pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago,” he said. “Pay attention to Georgia on Monday,” as there is a “big endorsement coming.”

In an interview last month, Trump said he is “negotiating with a number of people, and there’s also the other option of building your own [social media] site.” He added, “Because we have more people than anybody. I mean you can literally build your own site.”

“I really wanted to be somewhat quiet. They wanted me very much on Parler, you know they had a phony report that the man who was in there didn’t—I mean just the opposite, they really wanted me on Parler,” Trump continued.

When asked about Parler during this same interview Trump said they “mechanically, they can’t handle” the number of users Trump would bring. 

During last week’s interview Trump also said he wasn’t sure if he would be running for president in 2024.

“First thing is for us, we have to see what we could do with the House,” Trump said. “I think we have a very good chance at taking back the House. We were going to lose 15-25 seats the last time, [until] I got involved. I worked very hard.”

The rationale behind this decision is their idea inflation will return to normal in a few years, before 2023 when their rates will be at zero. 

Federal Open Market Committee Members (FOMC), whom are independently wealthy, can charge away purchases to their Fed card on day-to-day activities. It seems this is why inflation holds little weight in their decision making processes. The rest of the population does not hold this same luxury and must therefore pay and care about highly inflated prices, which crush the purchasing power for Americans. 

Our money is already dead. It holds a fraction of the purchasing power it has in previous decades, and the velocity of money, which few talk about, has completely collapsed. The velocity of money refers to the amount of times money changes hands over a period of time. 

The Velocity of Money 

“The velocity of money is the frequency at which one unit of currency is used to purchase domestically produced goods and services within a given time period. In other words, it is the number of times one dollar is spent to buy goods and services per unit of time. If the velocity of money is increasing, then more transactions are occurring between individuals in an economy. A decreasing velocity might indicate fewer consumption transactions are taking place.”

If I pay the dog groomer, and tip her, and she takes the tip and goes and buys a coffee, the velocity of money in this scenario is two. The stark reality now is this velocity has dropped from 2.2 in the 80’s down to under 1.2 in 2020. 

While the money supply has gone up 12-fold in the U.S. in this same time period. With the endless printing of money to offset our massive national debt, the velocity has plummeted. This means less transactions and less spending with more money. 

This is how money dies. 

Current State the U.S. Economy & Supply Chains 

CIO of Bank of America explained in a recent notification to a California real estate developer, the following anecdote, 

“Our worldwide supply chain, and ability to provide products and services to you, is being significantly impacted by increased prices resulting from labor and raw material shortages, escalating raw material prices, manufacturing delays and transit interruptions. Stated directly, our costs are increasing and are much more volatile than in the past.” – Mar 3rd price increase notification to CA real estate developer.

The most recent mfg ISM article precisely explains the state of worldwide shortages and more: 

• “Things are now out of control. Everything is a mess, and we are seeing wide-scale shortages.” (Electrical Equipment, Appliances & Components)
• “Supply chains are depleted; inventories up and down the supply chain are empty. Lead times increasing, prices increasing, [and] demand increasing. Deep freeze in the Gulf Coast expected to extend duration of shortages.” (Chemical Products)
• “The coronavirus [COVID-19] pandemic is affecting us in terms of getting material to build from local and our overseas third- and fourth-tier suppliers. Suppliers are complaining of [a lack of] available resources [people] for manufacturing, creating major delivery issues.” (Computer & Electronic Products)
• “We have seen our new-order log increase by 40 percent over the last two months. We are overloaded with orders and do not have the personnel to get product out the door on schedule.” (Primary Metals)
• “Prices are rising so rapidly that many are wondering if [the situation] is sustainable. Shortages have the industry concerned for supply going forward, at least deep into the second quarter.” (Wood Products)
• “We have experienced a higher rate of delinquent shipments from our ingredient suppliers in the last month. We are still struggling keeping our production lines fully manned. We anticipate a fast and large order surge in the food-service sector as restaurants open back up.” (Food, Beverage & Tobacco Products)
• “Steel prices have increased significantly in recent months, driving costs up from our suppliers and on proposals for new work that we are bidding. In addition, the tariffs and anti-dumping fees/penalties incurred by international mills/suppliers are being passed on to us.” (Transportation Equipment)

So, What’s Next for the U.S. Economy? 

The simultaneous expansion of money and collapse of money velocity, along with supply and demand chain shortages, lead to a Dead Money Economy. The money being created is now either spent overseas or saved in accounts rather than exchanging hands for goods and services in the U.S. 

This thin string of security we’re holding onto is losing its strength. 

While the Fed would like us to believe all is business as usual, Americans know the reality. Money is being printed, loses its purchasing power by the day, and is essentially “dead money.”

Unleashing of the border crisis by the Biden Administration worsens by the day, leading to the president pleading with migrants to stop coming. President Trump went on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo where he laid in on Biden for worsening the border crisis by reinstating catch and release and pulling back on other forms of enforcement. 

During the interview President Trump was clear that he and the Mexican President AMLO had grown a “great relationship,” which AMLO has confirmed. AMLO has also been speaking out against the Biden administration for their encouragement of illegal immigration. AMLO and Trump have shared a mutual interest in controlling illegal immigration at the border. 

Trump was clear in his warning during the interview, as he has been through out the years, stating migration will “destroy our country” if we don’t do something about it. 

“[Lopez Obrador] is a great gentleman. We had a very good relationship. They had 28,000 soldiers on our border while we were building the wall … and they were also stopping them at their northern border by Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala,” Trump said.

“Today, they are coming in. You take a look. They are coming in from foreign countries. I see they are coming in from Yemen. They are coming in from the Middle East. They are coming in from everywhere,” he said. “They are dropping them off and they are pouring into our country. It is a disgrace.”

“They are going to destroy our country if we don’t do something about it.”

“Frankly, our country can’t handle [the increase in migrants]. It is a crisis like we have rarely had and certainly we have never had on the border. But it is going to get much worse.”

President Biden also gave a recent interview with George Stephanopoulos where he agreed the crisis at the border is deteriorating. He gave this message to migrants: “Don’t come over…Don’t leave your town or city or community.” 

Prior to issuing this message, Biden denied ever encouraging migrants to flood our borders in attempts at crossing. This comes despite’s rollback of Trump’s tough-on-immigration policies that protect all American’s, especially our most vulnerable communities. 

Earlier this week, Jen Psaki, Biden’s press secretary who will “circle back” to your question, told reporters the Biden administration is doing everything it can to halt the flood of migrants. 

“We recognize this as a problem. We’re focused on addressing it. That’s just five steps we’re taking, and we’re continuing to evaluate what additional steps can be taken to address the situation at the border,” she said, riddling off recent administration actions, including adding capacity for health officials to house unaccompanied minors, or children who enter the country illegally without an adult.”

They’re doing everything they can to address the problem…except reviving the policies that worked just months ago.

What does he mean by Weimar Inflation? 

Weimar as is Weimar, Germany. As you may know, Germany racked up substantial debt when fighting WWI which they obviously lost. To pay off all their debt they started printing money like crazy and became a horror story of hyper inflation. 

Their currency became worthless. They started using their bank notes as wall paper because it was worth more as that. 

This picture shows a man wheeling in a wheelbarrow of money just to purchase milk and bread. This is how bad their inflation became. 

The worst case scenario may be right around the corner and even Bank of America’s CIO is heading their warning:

The Federal Reserve

The federal reserve has historically been used to balance the economy. They did this by raising and lowering interest rates, printing money, etc. They used to go against the wind.

The punchline: This was “written in 1974 re: 1914-1923.”

If a gestation period is roughly 8 years, Burry is claiming ours has been from 2010-2021. This means adding that

“when dollars might as well be falling from the sky… management teams get creative and ultimately take more risk… paying out debt-financed dividends to investors or investing in risky growth opportunities has beaten a frugal mentality hands down.” 

Ray Dalio is saying the same thing: every country who racked up a ton of debt then tried to print their way out of it completely destroyed their currency in the process. 

We can lose the status as being the reserve currency of the world by printing our money until it’s worthless. This is what we are doing now.
